Time Tech was started by a group of Kuwaiti watch enthusiasts who wanted to protect the watches they love without changing how they look. Our aim is still the same: protect the watch, with equal care for appearance, quality and precision.
We tested before we trusted.
Before a single film went onto a customer's watch, we evaluated 13 films from 10 countries with laboratory testing. One passed to our satisfaction. It is self-healing, anti-yellowing and skin-safe, and it is the only film we install. We then sent it to an independent laboratory in Korea, and it came through every test. The results are below.
Measured, not guessed.
We brought the first 3D scanner in Kuwait into our workshop so that every film is measured to the watch it protects. That is why it is near-invisible once fitted.
The line we will not cross.
We remove scratches. We do not polish. Polishing reshapes the case edges and softens lines that can never be brought back, so it is not work we do, on any watch, at any price.

Tested, certified, on record.
Our quality system is certified to ISO 9001, and the film we install was put through independent laboratory testing at the Korea Testing & Research Institute (KTR), one of Korea's national testing bodies. It came through every test. The results are below, exactly as the laboratory reported them.

Scratch protection
9H pencil. No defects beneath.
Tested with a 9H pencil at 7.35 N: no defects on the surface beneath the film. In the abrasion test (Taber CS-10F wheel, 500 g, 100 cycles) the film itself takes the wear, hazing to 26.7%. That is the film doing its job in place of the watch.

Anti-yellowing
1,000 hours of simulated sunlight.
Accelerated weathering under a xenon-arc lamp for 1,000 hours, with heat, humidity and water spray. Afterwards the film measured a haze of 1.4% and a yellowness index of 0.7. Still clear.

Skin-safe
Restricted substances: not detected.
The film was tested for four phthalate plasticisers (DEHP, DBP, BBP, DIBP) and for polybrominated biphenyls, substances restricted in consumer products under the RoHS directive. None was detected.
The ISO certificate can be verified with the registrar at zeppycert.com. The KTR test reports are held at the shop and are quoted here by report number. Test results apply to the samples submitted, as every laboratory report states.
